Pool Cleaning in GREAT NECK, Virginia Beach
Fat Cat Pool Services provides weekly cleaning and chemical maintenance for in-ground pools across the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach, including Great Neck Point, Wolfsnare, Trant Berkshire, Broad Bay, and Linkhorn Oaks. Great Neck has the largest residential lots in the city, and the pools match — our weekly pool cleaning service is built for big pools under big trees.
What Great Neck pools are up against…
Lot size drives everything here. A pool on an acre lot with mature hardwoods and pines over it takes on more leaves and debris in a week than a beach pool does in a month. The pools run larger than average, so there is more water to balance and more surface to brush. Shade keeps water cooler and slows circulation in corners and on steps, and that is where algae starts in spring. Waterfront streets in Great Neck Point and Broad Bay pick up runoff after heavy rain. Inland streets in Wolfsnare and Trant Berkshire deal more with pollen and leaf load. In a pool this size, the chemistry will not hold without a weekly visit.
Weekly Pool Service for Great Neck
Every visit includes skimming, brushing, vacuuming, basket cleaning, water testing, and chemical balancing. Readings are logged each week so you can see how the pool is trending. Larger pools get a longer visit, since a 35,000-gallon pool under trees takes more time than a small one. We check equipment each week and flag anything that needs attention before it turns into a repair. Month-to-month and annual plans are available.
